कुमाऊं में पहली बार आयोजित हुई तृतीय फिन स्विमिंग प्रतियोगिता, 40 प्रतिभागियों का राष्ट्रीय प्रतियोगिता के लिए चयन (Smimming)
Swimming, The Uttarakhand Finswimming Association, affiliated with the International Water Sports Federation, successfully organized the third fin swimming competition in Haldwani, Kumaon. This marked the first time the competition was held in the Kumaon division of Uttarakhand. Around 80 participants from seven districts of the state showcased their skills in various trial competitions held at the Indira Gandhi International Sports Stadium. The event, inaugurated by Divisional Forest Officer Babu Lal, witnessed fierce competition in categories such as 50m, 100m, 200m, and 400m.
समाचार को यहाँ क्लिक करके सुन भी सकते हैंनवीन समाचार, हल्द्वानी, 22 जून 2023। (Smimming) कुमाऊं के प्रवेश द्वार हल्द्वानी में इंटरनेशनल वाटर स्पोर्ट्स फेडरेशन से सम्बद्ध उत्तराखंड फिनस्विमिंग एशोसिएशन के गुरुवार को इंदिरा गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्पोर्ट्स स्टेडियम गौलापार के तरणताल में तृतीय फिन स्विमिंग प्रतियोगिता का ट्रायल आयोजित किया गया। उत्तराखंड के कुमाऊं मंडल में पहली बार आयोजित इस प्रतियोगिता में प्रदेश के सात जिलों नैनीताल, ऊधमसिंह नगर, देहरादून, हरिद्वार, उत्तरकाशी, रुद्रप्रयाग एवं पिथौरागढ़ से आये लगभग 80 प्रतिभागियों ने प्रतिभाग किया। प्रतियोगिता का शुभारंभ प्रभागीय वनाधिकारी हल्द्वानी डिवीजन बाबू लाल ने किया।

इस दौरान हुई 50 मीटर, 100 मीटर, 200 मीटर एवं 400 मीटर की 25 ट्रायल प्रतियोगिताओं में अंडर 11, 12 से 13, 14 से 15, 16 से 17, 18 प्लस एवं मास्टर्स आयु वर्ग के 40 बच्चों का चयन हैदराबाद में प्रस्तावित राष्ट्रीय फिनस्विममिंग प्रतियोगिता हेतु किया गया। उल्लेखनीय है कि इससे पूर्व भी गोवा एवं पुणे में आयोजित राष्ट्रीय फिन स्विमिंग में उत्तराखंड के 18 प्रतिभागी अपने उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन से पदक प्राप्त कर चुके है।

Third fin swimming competition organized for the first time in Kumaon, 40 participants selected for national competition

In Haldwani, the gateway of Kumaon, Uttarakhand Finswimming Association, affiliated to the International Water Sports Federation, organized the trial of the third fin swimming competition in the swimming pool of Indira Gandhi International Sports Stadium, Gaulapar.
About 80 participants from seven districts of the state Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun, Haridwar, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag and Pithoragarh participated in this competition organized for the first time in the Kumaon division of Uttarakhand. The competition was inaugurated by Divisional Forest Officer, Haldwani Division Babu Lal.
In the 25 trial competitions of 50 m, 100 m, 200 m and 400 m held during this period, 40 children in the age groups of under 11, 12 to 13, 14 to 15, 16 to 17, 18 plus and masters were selected for the proposed National Finswimming in Hyderabad. Done for the competition. It is notable that earlier also 18 participants of Uttarakhand have received medals for their excellent performance in National Fin Swimming organized in Goa and Pune.
The organizers of the finswimming competition, Uttarakhand Fin Swimming Association Supervisor AJ Pandit, President Anil Brar, Secretary Rehan Siddiqui, Treasurer Hansi Rawat, Technical Associate Rakesh Dutt, Rajendra Nayal and Gaurav Chand congratulated the selected participants. Sanjay Rawat, Deepak Dani and other members of Tri Club Haldwani supported the performance of the participants in the competition.
