नवीन समाचार, नैनीताल, 19 जून 2023। (Naini Lake men gandagi) जिला-मंडल मुख्यालय में शहरी विकास विभाग के अंतर्गत गठित यूयूएसडीए यानी उत्तराखंड शहरी क्षेत्र विकास एजेंसी के द्वारा सीवरेज परियोजना के तहत मॉल रोड पर 30 से 40 साल पुरानी सीवर पाइप लाइन को अत्याधुनिक तकनीक से पुर्नस्थापित करने का कार्य किया गया है। इस योजना के तहत करीब 96 करोड़ रुपए की लागत से 17.5 एमएलडी क्षमता के एसटीपी यानी सीवेज शोधन संयंत्र में सीवरेज का शोधन एवं 11.9 किमी सीवरेज पाईप लाईन बिछायी जानी प्रस्तावित है। देखें वीडियो:
इस वर्ष जनवरी माह से चल रहे इस कार्य को हालांकि एक माह में ही यानी फरवरी माह तक ही पूरा किए जाने के दावे किए जा रहे थे। यह अलग बात है कि यह कार्य अभी भी रुक-रुककर होता नजर आ रहा है। इस बीच सोमवार को हुई मूसलाधार बारिश में इस परियोजना के तहत हुए कार्य धुलते नजर आए। वस्तुतः इस परियोजना की जरूरत इसलिए भी महसूस की जा रही थी कि पुरानी सीवर लाइन हर बारिश में मॉल रोड पर पर्यटन कार्यालय के पास उफन जाती थी और सीवर की भारी मात्रा में गंदगी पास ही स्थित नैनी झील में समा जाती थी। लेकिन आज हुई पहली बारिश में एक बार फिर यहां सीवर लाइन उफन पड़ी। यानी पहली परीक्षा में यह परियोजना फेल साबित हुई है। देखें वीडियो:
उल्लेखनीय है कि इस योजना के तहत लगभग 96 करोड़ की लागत सें 17.5 एमएलडी क्षमता के एसटीपी यानी सीवेज शोधन संयंत्र में सीवरेज के शोधन के साथ ही मॉल रोड़ से तल्तीताल तक 1.7 किमी, ठण्डी सड़क से तल्लीताल तक 1.9 किमी, तल्तीलात से हनुमान गड़ी तक 1.8 किमी, हनुमान गड़ी से रूसी बायपास तक 4.4 किमी व रूसी बायपास से 2.1 किमी यानी इस प्रकार कुल 11.9 किमी सीवरेज पाईप लाईन बिछायी जानी प्रस्तावित है।
इस योजना के कार्यान्वयन में ट्रेंचलेस तकनीक के रूप में सीआईपीपी यानी क्योर्ड इन प्लेस पाइप नामक सबसे उपयुक्त व आधुनिक तकनीक का उपयोग किया गया बताया गया है, लेकिन यदि यह कार्य उपयोगी साबित न हुए और सीवर की गंदगी झील में समाती रही तो इसे करोड़ों रुपए की बर्बादी ही कहा जाएगा। इधर नैनीताल नगर पालिका के ईओ आलोक उनियाल की अगुवाई में आज बारिश के बाद पालिका कर्मियों व नौका चालकों की अगुवाई में नैनी झील में सफाई कर काफी मात्रा में बारिश से झील में गई गंदगी हटाई गई।
भारी बारिश के दौरान घरों पर गिरा पेड़

Under this scheme, sewerage treatment and 11.9 km sewerage pipeline is proposed to be laid in STP ie sewage treatment plant of 17.5 MLD capacity at a cost of about Rs 96 crore. Watch video:
However, claims were being made to complete this work which is going on since the month of January this year, within a month itself i.e. till the month of February. It is a different matter that even now this work seems to be happening intermittently. Meanwhile, in the torrential rains on Monday, the work done under this project was seen to be washed away. In fact, the need for this project was also being felt because the old sewer line used to overflow every rain near the tourism office on Mall Road and a huge amount of sewage used to enter the nearby Naini Lake. But in today’s first rain, once again the sewer line overflowed here. That is, this project has proved to be a failure in the first examination.
It is noteworthy that under this scheme, 17.5 MLD capacity STP i.e. Sewage Treatment Plant with sewerage treatment at a cost of about 96 crores, 1.7 km from Mall Road to Talital, 1.9 km from Thandi Road to Tallital, Taltilat to Hanuman Gadi. It is proposed to lay 1.8 km, 4.4 km from Hanuman Gari to Russian Bypass and 2.1 km from Russian Bypass, ie, a total of 11.9 km of sewerage pipeline is proposed.
In the implementation of this scheme, the most suitable and modern technology called CIPP ie Cured in Place Pipe has been used as a trenchless technique, but if this work does not prove useful and the sewer dirt continues to be contained in the lake, then it will cost crores of rupees. That would be called a waste. Here, under the leadership of Nainital Municipality’s EO Alok Uniyal, after the rains today, under the leadership of municipal workers and boat drivers, a large amount of dirt in the lake was removed by cleaning the Naini lake.
Tree fell on houses during heavy rain
