Nainital News 16 June 2023, In a shocking incident, a garbage vehicle belonging to the municipality lost control due to brake failure and rolled down a steep slope before crashing onto the roof of a house. The driver, Rehmat Ali, and his assistant, Mukesh Kumar, narrowly escaped with minor injuries. They were promptly taken to BD Pandey District Hospital for first aid. The accident occurred while the vehicle was returning from Stoneley compound in Nainital, carrying a load of garbage. The impact caused the garbage to scatter around the area.
कूड़ा वाहन घर की छत पर गिरा
नवीन समाचार, नैनीताल, 16 जून 2023। (Nainital News 16 June 2023) नगर में शुक्रवार को नगर पालिका का एक कूड़ा वाहन ब्रेक फेल होने के बाद तीक्ष्ण ढाल पर लुड़क गया और करीब 50 फिट तक लुड़कने के बाद एक घर की लिंटर की छत पर गिर पड़ा। दुर्घटना में कूड़ा वाहन के चालक रहमत अली और सहयोगी मुकेश कुमार बाल-बाल बच गए। उन्हें हल्की चोटें आई हैं। दुर्घटना के बाद दोनों को आसपास के लोगों ने बीडी पांडे जिला चिकित्सालय पहुंचाया जहां से दोनों को प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद घर भेज दिया गया।
बताया गया है कि दुर्घटना नगर के स्टोनले कंपाउंड से तल्लीताल की ओर लौटते हुए हुई। इस दौरान कूड़ा वाहन में कूड़ा भरकर लाया जा रहा था। इससे आसपास कूड़ा भी फैल गया।

नैनीताल। उत्तराखंड के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री व महाराष्ट्र के पूर्व राज्यपाल भगत सिंह कोश्यारी के 82वें जन्मदिवस के अवसर पर शनिवार को नैनीताल के सरस्वती शिशु मंदिर मल्लीताल में दोपहर 12 बजे से यहां पढ़ने वाले छात्र-छात्राओं को पाठ्य सामग्री वितरित की जाएगी। भाजपा के मंडल महामंत्री मोहित साह ने बताया कि इस कार्यक्रम में डीएम वंदना सिंह मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शामिल होंगी।
सरोवरनगरी में वाहनों पर रोक के बाद अब सैलानी ले रहे आनंद
नैनीताल। सरोवरनगरी नैनीताल में प्रशासन सैलानियों के अधिकांश वाहनों को शहर के बाहर ही नारायण नगर व रूसी बाइपास पर रोक रहा है। वहां से सैलानियों को शटल टैक्सियों से शहर में लाया जा रहा है। ऐसे में पर्यटन नगरी में बीते वर्षों की तरह सीजन में वाहनों की भीड़, जाम नहीं है, और सैलानी पैदल घूमकर नगर के प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य का आनंद उठा रहे हैं। इससे स्थानीय लोग भी अपेक्षाकृत सहज महसूस कर रहे हैं। जबकि पिछले दिनों नगर वासियों का वाहनों की अत्यधिक भीड़भाड़ की वजह से पैदल कहीं निकलना भी मुश्किल साबित हो रहा था।
कुमाऊं विवि ने किए परीक्षा परिणाम घोषित
नैनीताल। कुमाऊं विवि ने शुक्रवार को बीफार्मा-एल के तीसरे व पांचवे, बीएससी बायोटेक्नोलॉजी के पहले तथा एमबीए इंटीग्रेटेड के सातवें व नौवें सेमेस्टर की परीक्षाओं के परिणाम घोषित कर दिए हैं। विवि के कुलसचिव दिनेश चंद्रा ने बताया कि परीक्षार्थी अपना परीक्षाफल विवि की आधिकारिक वेबसाइट केयूएनटीएल डॉट नेट पर लॉग इन करके तथा अपने परिसर व महाविद्यालय से भी प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।
सफाई अभियान के लिए नुक्कड़ नाटक से फैलाई जागरूकता
नैनीताल। उत्तराखंड उच्च न्यायालय के दिशा निर्देशों पर आगामी 18 जून को प्रस्तावित प्रदेश व्यापी स्वच्छता अभियान के तहत शुक्रवार को नगर में जागरूकता अभियान चलाया गया। इस दौरान जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश तथा जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण की अध्यक्ष सुजाता सिंह के मार्गदर्शन में नगर में कई स्थानों पर स्थानीय कलाकारों ने नुक्कड़ नाटक के माध्यम से जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। कार्यक्रम का समापन जिला न्यायालय में किया गया। इस दौरान नुक्कड़ नाटक के माध्यम से लोगों को साफ-सफाई के प्रति जागरूक किया गया।
भवाली रोड पर भूमियाधार व्यू प्वॉइंट पर बनी कच्ची दुकानें ध्वस्त कीं

In the city on Friday, a garbage vehicle of the municipality rolled on a sharp slope after brake failure and after rolling for about 50 feet fell on the linter roof of a house. Rehmat Ali, the driver of the garbage vehicle and Mukesh Kumar, his assistant, narrowly escaped in the accident. He has got minor injuries. After the accident, both of them were taken to BD Pandey District Hospital by the nearby people from where both were sent home after first aid.
It is reported that the accident took place while returning from Stoneley compound in the city towards Tallital. During this time the garbage was being brought in the vehicle filled with garbage. Due to this, the garbage also spread around.

After the ban on vehicles in Sarovarnagari, now tourists are enjoying

Kumaun University declared exam results
Nainital. Kumaun University on Friday declared the results of third and fifth semesters of BPharma-L, first semester of BSc Biotechnology and seventh and ninth semesters of MBA Integrated. University’s registrar Dinesh Chandra said that the candidates can get their results by logging on to the official website of the university, kuntl.net and also from their campus and college.
Awareness spread through street plays for cleanliness drive
Nainital. On the guidelines of the Uttarakhand High Court, an awareness campaign was conducted in the city on Friday under the proposed state-wide cleanliness campaign on June 18. During this, under the guidance of District and Sessions Judge and President of District Legal Services Authority Sujata Singh, local artists organized an awareness program through street plays at many places in the city. The program was concluded at the District Court. During this, people were made aware of cleanliness through street plays.
Demolished raw shops built at Bhumiyadhar View Point on Bhawali Road
Nainital. Provincial block Lonivi Nainital on Friday demolished about a dozen shops and restaurants etc. built at Bhumiyadhar’s view point on Bhawali Road. Notices have also been pasted near the demolished shops in the names of the concerned shop owners. It has been told that these shops were being operated illegally.
