नवीन समाचार, नैनीताल, 28 जून 2023। (Suchana na dene par Jurmama) राज्य सूचना आयोग ने अपने आदेश का पालन न करने पर लोक सूचना अधिकारी व अधिशाषी अभियंता पीएमजीएसयाई कपकोट से 5000 रुपए की वसूली करने के आदेश दिए हैं।
मामले के अनुसार तल्लीताल नैनीताल में रहने वाले कपकोट क्षेत्र के मूल निवासी सूचना अधिकार कार्यकर्ता हुकुम सिंह बसेड़ा ने पूर्व में पीएमजीएसयाई कपकोट से कुछ सूचनाएं उपलब्ध करने हेतु आवेदन किया था। परन्तु लोक सूचना अधिकारी द्वारा सूचना नहीं उपलब्ध कराने पर बसेड़ा ने संबंधित अपीलीय अधिकारी-अधिशाषी अभियंता पीएमजीएस के समक्ष प्रथम अपील की। इसके उपरान्त भी बसेड़ा को सूचना नहीं दी गई।

इस पर द्वितीय अपील राज्य सूचना आयोग में की गई। वहां सुनवाई के दौरान आयोग ने संबंधित लोक सूचना अधिकारी व अपीलीय अधिकारी को 1 माह के भीतर सूचना देने के लिए निर्देशित किया, लेकिन इसके बाद भी कोई सूचना नहीं दी गई।

The State Information Commission has ordered recovery of Rs 5000 from Public Information Officer and Executive Engineer PMGSY Kapkot for non-compliance of its order. According to the case, right to information activist Hukum Singh Baseda, a native of Kapkot area living in Tallital Nainital, had earlier applied for some information from PMGSY Kapkot.
But on not providing the information by the Public Information Officer, Basera made first appeal before the concerned Appellate Officer-Executive Engineer PMGS. Even after this, information was not given to Baseda. A second appeal was made on this in the State Information Commission. During the hearing there, the Commission directed the concerned Public Information Officer and Appellate Officer to give information within one month, but even after that no information was given.

On this the applicant again complained to the commission. Even after this the information was not given to the applicant. On this, the commission while passing its final order imposed a fine of Rs.5000 on the Public Information Officer and the Appellate Officer.
