The victim lodged a complaint at the Sidkul police station, leading to the registration of a case and the subsequent arrest of the accused. The girl narrated that she was introduced to the young man, who identified himself as Sonu and claimed to work in an industrial unit of SIDCUL. Over time, they developed a romantic relationship, but the girl later discovered that his real name was Sartaj, and he threatened to expose explicit photos and videos of her. The police have filed a case against the accused for rape and other relevant charges.
नवीन समाचार, हरिद्वार,, 21 जून 2023। धर्मनगरी हरिद्वार में एक युवक द्वारा अपनी पहचान बदलकर (Rape case involving identity deception) एक युवती को अपने झूठे प्यार में फंसाकर दुष्कर्म करने का मामला सामने आया है। पीड़िता ने आरोपित युवक के विरुद्ध सिडकुल थाने में तहरीर दी। इस पर सिडकुल पुलिस ने कार्रवाई करते हुए मुकदमा दर्ज कर आरोपित युवक को हिरासत में ले लिया है।
पुलिस से प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार क्षेत्र के एक गांव की रहने वाली युवती ने सिडकुल थाने पहुंचकर पुलिस को पूरे घटनाक्रम की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि करीब छह माह पूर्व एक मिस्ड कॉल के जरिए उसकी जान पहचान एक युवक से हुई थी। युवक ने अपना नाम सोनू बताते हुए सिडकुल की एक औद्योगिक इकाई में कार्यरत होने की जानकारी दी थी। इसके बाद युवक भरोसा बनाकर दोस्ती के बाद युवती के साथ प्रेम प्रसंग तक पहुंच गया।
आरोप है कि भरोसा बनने के बाद युवक एक दिन उसे पिरान कलियर के एक गेस्ट हाऊस सहित कई जगह ले गया, और उसके साथ हर बार शारीरिक संबंध बनाए। लेकिन इधर कुछ समय पहले जब पीड़िता को पता चला कि युवक का नाम सोनू नहीं बल्कि सरताज पुत्र अफजल निवासी सोहलपुर पिरान कलियर है। इस बात पर उसने सरताज से जवाब तलब किया तो उसने पीड़िता की अश्लील फोटो एवं वीडियो कब्जे में होने की बात कहते हुए उन्हें सार्वजनिक कर देने की धमकी दी।

The victim lodged a complaint at the Sidkul police station, leading to the registration of a case and the subsequent arrest of the accused. In Dharmanagari Haridwar, a case has come to light of a young man changing his identity and raping a girl by trapping her in his false love. The victim gave a complaint against the accused youth at the Sidkul police station. Acting on this, the Sidkul police registered a case and took the accused youth into custody.
According to the information received from the police, a girl from a village in the area reached the Sidkul police station and informed the police about the entire incident and told that about six months ago, she was introduced to a young man through a missed call. Describing his name as Sonu, the youth had given information about working in an industrial unit of SIDCUL. After this, after building trust, the young man reached a love affair with the girl after friendship.
It is alleged that after establishing trust, the youth one day took her to several places, including a guest house in Piran Kaliyar, and made physical relations with her every time. But here some time ago when the victim came to know that the name of the young man is not Sonu but Sartaj’s son Afzal resident Sohalpur Piran Kaliyar. On this, when he called for an answer from Sartaj, he threatened to make them public saying that he was in possession of obscene photos and videos of the victim.
SHO Naresh Rathore said that a case has been registered against the youth under relevant sections including rape.
