Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat has taken a significant step by imposing a ban on the sale of plots in Pal Colonizer’s Eco Town area in Haldwani. The decision came after reports surfaced about non-compliance with the standards in the Eco Town area. Commissioner Rawat personally conducted a thorough inspection of Eco Town Phase-1, 2, and 3 and discovered several deficiencies, including the lack of essential facilities, green spaces, roads, drains, and a sewage treatment plant (STP). In response, Commissioner Rawat promptly directed the Municipal Commissioner and other relevant officers to halt the sale of plots in the area. Additionally, the inspection unveiled unauthorized construction and sale of multi-storeyed flats within the town city, leading to instructions for the City Magistrate to investigate the approval process and issue notices to the colonizer. The Commissioner emphasized that the inspection revealed a failure to provide essential amenities to the public as promised in the town city map. The authorities present during the inspection included Municipal Commissioner Pankaj Upadhyay, City Magistrate Richa Singh, Deputy Collector Manish Kumar Singh, Tehsildar Sanjay Kumar, and Revenue Inspector.

समाचार को यहाँ क्लिक करके सुन भी सकते हैंनवीन समाचार, हल्द्वानी, 16 जून 2023। कुमाऊं कमिश्नर दीपक रावत (Deepak Rawat) ने हल्द्वानी में पाल कोलोनाइजर के ईको टाऊन एरिया में प्लॉटों की बिक्री पर रोक लगाने की बड़ी कार्रवाई की है। बताया गया है कि श्री रावत को जनमिलन कार्यक्रम में लोगांे अवगत कराया था कि ईको टाऊन एरिया में मानकों के विरुद्व भूखंडों की प्लॉटिंग की जा रही है। इसे गम्भीरता से लेते हुये आयुक्त ने शुकवार की सायं ईको टाऊन फेस-1, 2 एवं 3 का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया।

निरीक्षण के दौरान पाया कि तीन कालोनियों में उचित सुविधायें एवं ग्रीन स्पेस नहीं दिया गया है। साथ ही सडक, नालों एवं ड्रेनेज सिस्टम एवं एसटीपी का का कोई प्रबंध नही मिला। आयुक्त ने इसको गम्भीरता से लेते हुये नगर आयुक्त के साथ ही सम्बन्धित अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि प्लॉटों की ब्रिकी पर तत्काल रोक लगाई जाए।
इसके अलावा आयुक्त ने ईको टाउन कालोनी के निरीक्षण के दौरान पाया कि टाउन सिटी के अन्दर बहुतायत में बहुमंजिला फ्लैट बनाकर बेचे जा रहे है जो नियम विरूद्व हैं। आयुक्त ने मौके पर सिटी मजिस्टेट को निर्देश दिये कि टाउन सिटी के अन्दर बहुमंजिला फ्लैटों के मानचित्र किसके द्वारा स्वीकृत किये गये, इसकी आख्या प्रस्तुत करें और कोलोनाजर को नोटिस दें।
आयुक्त ने कहा कि टाउन सिटी मानचित्र के अनुसार पार्क, सड़क, सड़क के दोनों ओर नालियां एवं ड्रेनेज सिस्टम स्थलीय निरीक्षण में नही पाया गया। आयुक्त ने कहा कि आम लोगों को जो सुविधायें दी जानी थी वह नही दी गई। इसे गम्भीरता से लेते हुये तत्काल नोटिस के साथ ही ब्रिकी पर रोक लगाने के निर्देश दिये।

Naveen Samachar, Haldwani, 16 June 2023. Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat has taken major action to stop the sale of plots in Eco Town area of Pal Colonizer in Haldwani. It has been told that Mr. Rawat was informed by people in the public meeting that plots are being plotted against the standards in the Eco Town area. Taking this seriously, the commissioner did a site inspection of Eco Town Phase-1, 2 and 3 on Friday evening.
During inspection, it was found that proper facilities and green space have not been provided in three colonies. Along with this, no arrangement was found for roads, drains and drainage system and STP. Taking this seriously, the Commissioner directed the Municipal Commissioner as well as the concerned officers to immediately stop the sale of plots.
Apart from this, during the inspection of the Eco Town Colony, the commissioner found that a large number of multi-storeyed flats are being built and sold inside the town city, which is against the rules. On the spot, the Commissioner instructed the City Magistrate to present the report by whom the maps of multi-storeyed flats inside the town city were approved and give notice to the colonizer.
The commissioner said that according to the town city map, park, road, drains and drainage system on both sides of the road were not found in the terrestrial inspection. The commissioner said that the facilities which were supposed to be given to the common people were not given. Taking this seriously, along with immediate notice, instructions were given to ban the sale.
During the inspection, Municipal Commissioner Pankaj Upadhyay, City Magistrate Richa Singh, Deputy Collector Manish Kumar Singh, Tehsildar Sanjay Kumar along with Revenue Inspector and employees of the authority were present on the spot.
