This is the story of Vikram Singh Bangari, a resident of Almora district in Uttarakhand. While working in London, Vikram started dreaming about a stone from his village, which eventually led him to return home. Upon his return, Vikram opened a homestay and shared the story of the magical stone with visitors. As people started flocking to see the stone, the village witnessed economic growth, and migration decreased. The stone, known as ‘Thul Dhung,’ has become a revered deity for the village, and its income is dedicated to village development.
