The Kumaun University Non-Teaching Staff Association witnessed the swearing-in ceremony of its newly elected executive body. Prominent guests, including MLA Sarita Arya and the University Vice Chancellor, Prof., graced the event. The association’s President, Dr. Mohit Sanwal, along with other office bearers, took an oath to support the reasonable demands of the employees. However, a JCB machine caused damage to the main water pipeline in the district, disrupting water supply to thousands of residents.
