Pithaurgarh Accident, Two tragic accidents occurred within a span of 5 hours, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including a couple. Last week, 10 devotees, including two soldiers from Bageshwar district, lost their lives in a Bolero vehicle accident on the Hokra road in Pithoragarh. Today, an Alto car plunged into a ditch in Hokra, leading to the immediate demise of a man and a woman. Similarly, a pickup vehicle fell into a ditch near Ghat Delhi Band, resulting in the death of the driver. The accidents have prompted search and rescue operations by the authorities. In the second incident, a car veered off the road between Khankra and Sirobgarh on the Badrinath National Highway, claiming the lives of two women. The driver of the car survived but is undergoing treatment. The accidents have caused immense grief and sorrow in the region.
