High Court on Officers : The Uttarakhand High Court, headed by Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Rakesh Thapliyal, has issued an order for the removal of Sunil Kumar Joshi from his position as Vice-Chancellor of Ayurvedic University. The court deemed his appointment as a violation of the rules governing the position. The decision was made after a petition filed by Vinod Kumar Chauhan, a resident of Haridwar, alleging illegal appointment and financial irregularities by Joshi. The petitioner argued that Joshi lacked the required qualifications and experience for the role, and further accused him of misusing his authority and making decisions contrary to government directives.
