Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami attributes the rise in reported cases to the implementation of stricter laws and government vigilance on conversions. Critics, however, claim that the BJP-led government in Uttarakhand is prioritizing these matters under the influence of the RSS. Furthermore, demands have been made to screen the film “Kerala Story” to raise awareness among the state’s daughters. Recent media reports highlight 8-10 love jihad cases in the western Dehradun area, including an incident involving blackmail, forced physical relations, and obscene videos. The victim sought help from the Hindu organization Vedic Mission, leading to the arrest of the perpetrator and his brother. Notably, three cases in Pachhwa Dehradun district involve suspects who had been in Kerala for months, prompting an investigation into their activities and possible connections to the “Kerala Story” movie. The involvement of barbers and mobile mechanics is a common thread in many cases. These incidents, along with the fear of unreported cases due to public shame, point to a well-planned conspiracy linked to love jihad, even in minor seduction cases. Authorities are also examining the potential role of love jihad in altering Uttarakhand’s demography. The police are investigating if Muslim youths from Uttarakhand are being trained in Kerala for such activities, as well as the existence of any local conspiracies. Furthermore, inter-religious marriages over the past five years are under scrutiny, and individuals involved in these marriages are being investigated. The Uttarakhand Police have issued a directive to take action against anyone who violates the law, regardless of their religion. The Uttarakhand Freedom of Religion Amendment Act, enacted in 2018, requires individuals marrying outside their religion to inform the district magistrate one month in advance, with penalties of up to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50,000 for non-compliance.
नवीन समाचार, देहरादून, 17 जून 2023। उत्तराखंड में हाल के दौर में ‘लव जिहाद’ कहे जा रहे एक संप्रदाय विशेष के युवकों द्वारा हिंदू युवतियों-महिलाओं को भगाने व उनके शारीरिक शोषण तथा धर्म परिवर्तन करने के दबाव के मामलों के बीच ‘केरला कनेक्शन’ (Kerala connection) की बात सामने आई है। साथ ही पुलिस अन्य कोणों से भी जांच में जुट गई है कि अचानक ऐसे मामलों में बढ़ोत्तरी क्यों हुई है।
हालांकि इस मामले में मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी का कहना है कि राज्य में धर्मांतरण का कानून आने तथा सरकार की ऐसे मामलों में सख्ती के कारण ऐसे मामले प्रकाश में अधिक आ रहे हैं। वहीं विरोधियों का यहां तक कहना है कि उत्तराखंड में भाजपा सरकार ऐसे मामलों को तूल देकर आरएसएस के इशारे पर नया प्रयोग कर रही है। दूसरी ओर राज्य में बेटियों को केरला स्टोरी फिल्म दिखाए जाने की मांगें भी उठ रही हैं।
मीडियो रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार पिछले करीब दो-ढाई सप्ताह में राजधानी के पछुवा देहरादून क्षेत्र में लव जिहाद के 8-10 मामले सामने आ चुके हैं। ताजा मामले में ब्यूटी पार्लर का काम सीखने वाली एक युवती को उसके साथ काम सीखने वाले फरहान निवासी पहाड़ गली विकासनगर ने प्रेम जाल में फंसाया। फिर उससे जबरदस्ती शारीरिक संबंध बनाकर अश्लील वीडियो बना लिये। इसके आधार पर शादी के लिए उसे लगभग ढाई साल तक ब्लैकमेल करता रहा। इस बीच किसी तरह युवती की दूसरे युवक से शादी हो गई। वर्तमान में उसकी एक बच्ची भी है।
इसके बावजूद फरहान उसे उसके अश्लील वीडियो के जरिए ब्लेकमेल कर होटल में अपने साथ आने के लिए मजबूर करता रहा। महिला ने किसी प्रकार हिम्मत दिखाई और हिंदू संगठन वैदिक मिशन को सूचना मिली। इसके बाद लड़की को फरहान के चंगुल से बचाते हुए उसके विरूद्ध कोतवाली विकास नगर में मुकदमा दर्ज कराया गया और फरहान को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया। इस साजिश में फरहान का भाई नईम सलमानी भी शामिल था। वह भी लड़की के साथ अश्लील हरकतें करता आ रहा था। नईम को भी पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया है।
‘पांचजन्य’ की खबर के अनुसार खास बात यह भी बताई जा रही है कि देहरादून जिले के पछुवा देहरादून में तीन मामले ऐसे थे, जिनके आरोपित पिछले कुछ महीनों से केरल में थे। ये वहां क्या कर रहे थे ? यहां लौट कर किस तरह से केरला स्टोरी फिल्म की तरह कृत्य करने लगे? ये बात पुलिस और खुफिया विभाग के लिए जांच का विषय बन गई है। एक बात और भी देखी गई है कि ज्यादातर मामलों में नाई व मोबाइल मैकेनिकों की संलिप्तता सामने आ रही है।
रिपोर्ट के अनुसार पछुवा दून में ऐेसे कई मामले हैं और उनकी कहानी लगभग एक जैसी है। ये वह मामले हैं जो सामने आए हैं, लेकिन आशंका यह भी है कि बहुत सारे ऐसे मामले हैं जो अभी लोक-लाज के भय की वजह से खुल नहीं रहे। देहरादून जिले में इस प्रकार से इतनी बड़ी संख्या में लव जिहाद के मामले सामने आना एक बड़ी सुनियोजित साजिश की ओर इशारा कर रहे हैं। पुरोला, कालसी में भी लव जिहाद की घटनाएं जौनसार बावर में हुई हैं। इनमें भी नाबालिग लड़कियों को बहला-फुसलाकर ले जाने की बात सामने आई है।
ऐसी भी आशंका है कि देवभूमि उत्तराखंड की डेमोग्राफी चेंज करने में लव जिहाद एक महत्वपूर्ण हथियार के रूप में प्रयोग में लाया जा रहा है। ढकरानी क्षेत्र में लव जिहाद के आंकड़ों को भी पुलिस के उच्च अधिकारी खंगाल रहे हैं। यह जानने की कोशिश की जा रही है कि कहीं ऐसा तो नहीं है कि उत्तराखंड के मुस्लिम युवकों को केरल में ‘लव जिहाद’ का प्रशिक्षण दिया जाता हो ? अब पुलिस इसका कारण ढूंढ रही है । इसके साथ ही क्या इस भाग में ‘लव जिहाद’ का कोई षड्यंत्र रचा गया है ? इसका भी पता लगाया जा रहा है।
पिछले पांच वर्ष में हुई अंतरधार्मिक शादियों की भी हो रही जांच
इसके अलावा उत्तराखंड पुलिस न लोगों के पिछले पांच सालों का रिकॉर्ड भी खंगाल रही है, जो हिंदू युवतियों को फंसाने के मामले में सामने आ रहे हैं। साथ ही उन लोगों की भी जांच की जा रही है, जिन्होंने पिछले पांच वर्षों में अंतरधार्मिक शादी की है।
‘जनसत्ता’ की खबर के अनुसार पुलिस ने इस फैसले को लेकर बताया है कि 13 जिलों के एसएसपी और एसपी को एक पत्र लिखा जा चुका है। जोर देकर कहा गया है जो भी कानून को तोड़ेगा, फिर चाहे वो किसी भी धर्म का क्यों ना हो, उसके खिलाफ एक्शन जरूर लिया जाएगा।

There is also a possibility that love jihad is being used as an important weapon to change the demography of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. High police officials are also probing the figures of Love Jihad in Dhakrani area. Efforts are being made to know whether it is not so that Muslim youths of Uttarakhand are being trained for ‘Love Jihad’ in Kerala? Now the police is finding the reason for this. Along with this, has any conspiracy of ‘love jihad’ been hatched in this part? This is also being ascertained.
Inter-religious marriages that took place in the last five years are also being investigated.
