Commissioner : The Kumaon Divisional Commissioner, Deepak Rawat, has given instructions to restrict traffic on Raj Bhavan Road in Nainital due to ongoing road construction. The work is expected to last for 20 to 25 days. The Commissioner has directed the Superintending Engineer to increase manpower and provide daily progress reports. Additionally, the police have been instructed to enforce a complete ban on vehicles accessing the damaged road, and legal action will be taken against those who violate the ban.

Tehsildars promoted to SDMs: Following the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), 14 tehsildars in the state civil service have been promoted to the position of deputy collector. The promoted officers, namely Yashveer Singh, Amrita Sharma, Vipin Pant, Chandrashekhar, Neelu Chawla, Shrestha Gunsola, Manju Rajput, Mukesh Ramola, Poonam Pant, Nawajish Khaliq, Shalini Maurya, Ashish Ghildiyal, Manjit Singh Gill, and Abrar Ahmed, are currently serving as tehsildars and will now be transferred to become SDMs (Sub-Divisional Magistrates).
