Uplabdhi : An alumnus of Kumaun University’s DSB Campus, Dr. Shikhar Pant, has been honored with the prestigious Fellow of Royal Society of Biology (FRCB) award, considered the highest recognition in the field of biology. Dr. Pant, currently serving as the coordinator of the Center for Biodiversity Studies at Ghulam Badshah University in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, completed his PhD under the guidance of YPS Pangati and Dr. SS Samant. He has also been recognized as a Fellow of the National Academy of Environmental Science and the Linnean Society.
