Honey Trap : A resident of Gaulapar in Haldwani has filed a complaint with the police after being blackmailed through obscene video calls on WhatsApp. The victim claims to have already paid Rs 1.85 lakh to the perpetrators to remove the explicit videos from social media. However, they are now demanding an additional sum of five lakh rupees, threatening suicide and implicating the victim in a suicide note. The victim received a video call from an unknown girl on June 26, followed by a call from another number, where the caller informed him that the obscene video was going viral on YouTube. The victim complied with the demands, but now faces further extortion and psychological distress. The police have initiated an investigation based on the victim’s complaint.

Shocking incident in Flight : In a shocking incident aboard an Air India flight from Mumbai to Delhi, a resident of Uttarakhand, identified as Ram Singh, was arrested by the Delhi Police for causing disturbance and engaging in inappropriate behavior.
