Death due to Electric Current, Tragic news struck as Maya Khatri, the wife of senior BJP leader Laxman Singh Khatri, passed away at the age of 55 due to electrocution. नवीन समाचार, लालकुआं, 28 जून 2023। क्षेत्र के पुराना खत्ता निवासी वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता लक्ष्मण सिंह खत्री की 55 वर्षीय धर्मपत्नी माया खत्री की बुधवार को बिजली का करंट लगने से (Death due to Electric Current) दर्दनाक मौत हो गई। घटना के कारण परिवार पर दुःख का पहाड़ टूट पड़ा है और क्षेत्र में शोक की लहर व्याप्त हो गई है।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार निकटवर्ती बिन्दुखत्ता में बुधवार सुबह तड़के लगभग 5 बजे माया ने उठकर घर का काम करने के बाद बाहर बारिश में भीग रहे फर्राटा फैन को उठाकर अंदर ले जाने को जैसे ही पकड़ा, तभी उन्हें बिजली का जोरदार झटका लग गया और वह मौके पर ही जमीन पर गिर गई।
मौके के पास मौजूद रहे उनके भतीजे कन्नू ने उन्हें उठाने का प्रयास किया तो उसे भी करंट लगा और वह भागते हुए अपने ताऊ लक्ष्मण सिंह को बताने उनकी पुराना खात्ता चौराहे पर स्थित दुकान व टेंट हाउस पर आया। सूचना मिलते ही मौके पर पहुंचे लक्ष्मण सिंह ने फर्राटा फैन को बिजली के प्लग से अलग किया और मौके पर चीख-पुकार सुनकर एकत्र हुए पड़ोसियों और रिश्तेदारों की मदद से अस्पताल पहुंचाया जहां चिकित्सकों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया।
माया अपने पीछे भरा पूरा परिवार छोड़ गई हैं। उनके 30 वर्षीय बेटे विनोद सहित दोनों बेटियों का विवाह हो चुका है। उल्लेखनीय है कि डेढ़ वर्ष पूर्व उनके एक बेटे तारा खत्री की हृदय गति रुकने से मौत हो गई थी।

Sad news-Death due to Electric Current : BJP leader’s wife dies of electric shock
Naveen Samachar, Lalkuan, 28 June 2023. Senior BJP leader Laxman Singh Khatri’s 55-year-old wife Maya Khatri, a resident of Purana Khatta in the area, died of electrocution on Wednesday. Due to the incident, a mountain of sorrow has broken on the family and a wave of mourning has spread in the area.
According to the information received, at around 5 a.m. on Wednesday morning in nearby Bindukhatta, after getting up from the house, Maya got up and caught the farrata fan which was drenched in the rain outside to take it inside, then she got a strong electric shock and she died on the spot. But fell on the ground.
When his nephew Kannu, who was present near the spot, tried to wake him up, he also got electrocuted and he ran away to tell his uncle Laxman Singh that his old account came to the shop and tent house at the intersection. Laxman Singh, who reached the spot as soon as the information was received, disconnected the Farrata fan from the electric plug and with the help of neighbors and relatives who gathered on the spot after hearing screams, rushed him to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Maya has left behind her entire family. Both the daughters are married along with their 30-year-old son Vinod. It is worth mentioning that one and a half year back one of his sons Tara Khatri had died due to cardiac arrest.
On hearing the news, MLA Dr. Mohan Singh Bisht, Congress leaders Harendra Bora, Ravindra Jaggi, Paan Singh Khatri, Balam Jaggi, Diwan Jina, Deepak Jaggi, Kamal Jaggi and many dignitaries of the area consoled the family members and expressed condolences. Here, the subdivisional officer of the electricity department, Sanjay Prasad said that he will send his subordinate employees to inspect the spot to see how the incident took place.
