Nivesh : The Union Home and Cooperation Minister, Amit Shah, has launched the ‘Sahara Refund Portal’ in New Delhi to facilitate the return of money to the 10 crore investors of Sahara India. The portal, named ‘CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal aims to assist genuine depositors of four cooperative societies affiliated with the Sahara Group. The Ministry of Cooperation has introduced this portal to streamline the claim process and provide information on recovering investments. The refund process, which involves a total of 24,000 crore rupees, will be overseen by former Supreme Court judge Justice Subhash Reddy and assisted by advocate Gaurav Aggarwal.
