नवीन समाचार, नैनीताल, 29 जून 2023। जिला व मंडल मुख्यालय में डायरिया (Diarrhea) फैल गया है। जिला चिकित्सालय के कई वार्ड डायरिया के मरीजों से पट गये हैं। वर्तमान में जिला चिकित्सालय में डायरिया के करीब 35 मरीज भर्ती हैं। शहर में डायरिया फैलने के कारण पीने के पानी की शुद्धता पर भी सवाल उठ रहे हैं। पानी की लाचिकित्सकों ने इस मौसम में खाने-पीने में खास तौर पर सफाई बरतने, हाथ धोकर ही खाना खाने, बासी भोजन व कटे तथा सड़े गले फल न खाने की सलाह दी जा रही है।
बीडी पांडे जिला चिकित्सालय के वरिष्ठ फिजीशियन डॉ. एमएस दुग्ताल ने बताया कि महिला व बाल वार्ड के 10 में से 9 बेडों में और नीचे 30 बेडों में से 25 में डायरिया के रोगी भर्ती हैं। इनमें 18 से 50-60 की उम्र के युवाओं से लेकर बुजुर्ग तक भर्ती हैं। इनमें से करीब 5-6 की स्थिति गंभीर भी बताई गई है। कई को बीते तीन-चार दिनों में 50 से 60 बोतल ग्लूकोज चढ़ाया कर सामान्य स्थिति में लाया गया है।

10 to 15 patients coming everyday,
Naveen Samachar, Nainital, 29 June 2023. Diarrhea has spread in the district and divisional headquarters. Many wards of the district hospital are full of diarrhea patients. At present, about 35 patients of diarrhea are admitted in the district hospital. Due to the outbreak of diarrhea in the city, questions are also being raised on the purity of drinking water. Doctors of water are being advised to maintain cleanliness especially in eating and drinking in this season, to eat food only after washing hands, not to eat stale food and cut and rotten fruits.
Senior Physician of BD Pandey District Hospital, Dr. MS Dugtal said that 9 out of 10 beds in women and child ward and 25 out of 30 beds below have diarrhea patients. In these, youths ranging from the age of 18 to 50-60 to the elderly are recruited. Of these, the condition of about 5-6 has also been said to be serious. Many have been brought back to normal by being given 50 to 60 bottles of glucose in the last three to four days.
Dr. Dugtal told that diarrhea patients are coming for about 20-25 days, whereas this week 10 to 15 patients are coming everyday. Diarrhea of many patients is also turning into jaundice and typhoid. The reason for this is believed to be bacteria and viruses like Norva and Salguna basali.
