नवीन समाचार, अल्मोड़ा, 28 जून 2023। (Reverse Migration) देवभूमि उत्तराखंड में ‘कण-कण में शंकर’ होने की बात कही जाती है। देवत्व में निहित ‘देवता’ सही अर्थों में वह है जो कुछ देता है। उत्तराखंड पूरे देश को मानव जीवन के लिए जरूरी प्राण वायु, पानी व उपजाऊ मिट्टी देता है, इसलिए वह देवता है और उसमें देवत्व निहित है। इस बात को समझ लें तो पहाड़ का एक-एक पत्थर राज्य की आर्थिकी में भी चार चांद लगा सकता है। यह कहानी इसका एक उदाहरण है।

लंदन में नौकरी करते थे विक्रम, सपने में आया गांव का पत्थर

यह कहानी है अल्मोड़ा जनपद के सल्ट मानीला के एक पत्थर और इस गांव के रहने वाले विक्रम सिंह बंगारी की। विक्रम गांव से पढ़ाई करने के बाद लंदन में नौकरी करते थे। लंदन में नौकरी के दौरान एक दिन अचानक विक्रम के सपने में गांव का एक पत्थर आया। वह इसको महज एक संयोग मानकर भूल गए। कुछ दिनों बाद वह पत्थर फिर उनके सपने में आया और इसके बाद वह पत्थर बार-बार उनके सपने में आने लगा।

एक दिन तो उनको हैरान करने वाला सपना आया। उन्होंने उस विशालकाय पत्थर को सपने में इतना साफ देखा कि उसके कण-कण उनको दिखने लगे। उसके बाद वह पत्थर विक्रम से बोलने लगा कि लोग मुझे भूल गए हैं। मेरी सुध लो और अपने घर वापस आयो। यहां आकर पहाड़ो को संवारो।

विक्रम ने समझा अपने वतन लौटने का संकेत

विक्रम ने इसे कुदरत का कोई संकेत मानते हुए लंदन छोड़ दिया। उन्हें लगा कि पत्थर उन्हें अपने देश बुला रहा है। इस पर वह दिल्ली आकर नौकरी करने लगे। लेकिन वहां भी इस पत्थर ने उनका पीछा नहीं छोड़ा। यह पत्थर लगातार इनके सपनों में आता रहा और गांव वापस लौटने को कहने लगा।

गांव लौट आए विक्रम

इस पर विक्रम ने सब कुछ छोड़कर गांव जाने का निर्णय लिया और वापस अपने गांव लौट आए। गांव वापस जाने के बाद विक्रम ने सबसे पहले उस पत्थर के आस-पास साफ-सफाई की और फिर इस पत्थर की पूजा-अर्चना भी की। विक्रम का कहना है कि इस पत्थर के दर्शन के बाद उनके अंदर अलग ही ऊर्जा का संचार हुआ।

इसके बाद विक्रम ने तय किया कि वह यहीं गांव में रहकर काम करेंगे और लोगों को भी पलायन करने से रोकेंगे। लेकिन उनके लंदन से छोड़कर अचानक इस तरह गांव लौटने और एक पत्थर के बारे में इस तरह की बातें करने और पत्थर पर ही केंद्रित हो जाने पर उनका मजाक उड़ाने लगे।

होम स्टे खोलकर शुरू किया स्वरोजगार

लेकिन दूसरी ओर धुन के पक्के विक्रम ने गांव लौटने के बाद धीरे-धीरे अपनी मेहनत से गांव में एक होमस्टे खोल लिया और अपने होमस्टे के साथ इस जादुई पत्थर के बारे में भी बात करते रहे। लोगों को विक्रम की यह कहानी रोचक लगी और लोग विक्रम के होम स्टे में आने के साथ इस पत्थर के बारे में भी बात करने लगे। देश ही नहीं बल्कि विदेशी सैलानी भी इस पत्थर को देखने भी विक्रम के गांव आने लगे और होमस्टे में ठहरने के साथ इस पत्थर के दर्शन करने भी जाने लगे।

अब टिकट लेकर देख सकते हैं ‘ठुल ढुंग’ को

इससे न केवल विक्रम का होम स्टे, बल्कि गांव की बंद पड़ी दुकानों में भी चहल पहल दिखने लगी। जो लोग गांव से पलायन करने की सोच रहे थे, उन्हें गांव में ही रोजगार मिलने लगा। अब गांव वाले भी कह रहे हैं कि जिस गांव में कुछ साल पहले तक इंसान नहीं दिखता था। आज वहीं साल-भर में हजारों लोग यहां आ रहे हैं। ऐसे में गांव वालों के लिए भी यह पत्थर किसी चमत्कारी पत्थर से आगे ‘देवता’ यानी ‘देने वाला’ साबित हो रहा है।

इधर विक्रम की पहल पर यहां अब हर साल 14 जनवरी को उत्तरैणी का मेला भी लगने लगा है। इस मेले को देखने के लिए भी हजारों लोग यहां आ रहे हैं। यही नहीं, इधर गांव वालों ने अब इस पत्थर को देखने का शुल्क लागू कर दिया है।

Vikram used to work in London, the village stone came in his dream

This is the story of Vikram Singh Bangari, a stone of Salt Manila of Almora district and a resident of this village. Vikram used to work in London after studying from the village. During his job in London, one day suddenly a stone from the village appeared in Vikram’s dream. He forgot it considering it just a coincidence. After a few days that stone again appeared in his dream and after that the stone started appearing in his dream again and again.

One day he had a shocking dream. He saw that huge stone so clearly in his dream that he could see every particle of it. After that the stone started speaking to Vikram that people have forgotten me. Take care of me and come back to your home. Come here and decorate the mountains.

Vikram understood the sign of returning to his homeland

Vikram left London believing it to be a sign of nature. They felt that the stone was calling them to their country. On this he came to Delhi and started working. But even there this stone did not leave him behind. This stone kept coming in his dreams continuously and asked him to return to the village.

Vikram returned to the village

On this Vikram decided to leave everything and go to the village and returned back to his village. After going back to the village, Vikram first cleaned the surroundings of that stone and then also worshiped this stone. Vikram says that after seeing this stone, there was a different energy in him.
After this Vikram decided that he would work here in the village and stop people from migrating. But they started making fun of him for leaving London and suddenly returning to the village like this and talking like this about a stone and being focused on the stone itself.

Started self employment by opening home stay

But on the other hand, after returning to the village, Vikram, a determined person, gradually opened a homestay in the village with his hard work and kept talking about this magical stone with his homestay. People found this story of Vikram interesting and people started talking about this stone as soon as Vikram came to the home stay. Rather, people started coming to Vikram’s village to see this stone, and apart from staying at the homestay, they also started visiting this stone.

Due to this, not only Vikram’s home stay, but also the closed shops of the village started showing activity. Those who were thinking of migrating from the village started getting employment in the village itself. Now the villagers are also saying that the village where no human was seen till a few years back. Today thousands of people are coming here throughout the year. In such a way, for the villagers also, this stone is proving to be a ‘deity’ i.e. ‘giver’ more than any miraculous stone.

Here, on the initiative of Vikram, every year on January 14, Uttaraini fair is also being held here. Thousands of people are also coming here to see this fair. Not only this, here the villagers have now imposed a fee to see this stone.

Vikram says that this stone inspired him to come back to the village. The people of the village supported him belatedly. Now the ticket system has been implemented to see this stone. It has been decided that the income from this stone is spent only on the development of the village. The people of the village know this stone by the name ‘Thul Dhung’ and in true sense this ‘Thul Dhung’ has become a big deity for the village.
