Dal-Badal : Bishan Singh Chufal, former cabinet minister and BJP MLA from Didihat assembly constituency, stated that several Congress MLAs in Uttarakhand are in contact with the BJP organization. Chufal, during his visit to Kashipur, emphasized that opposition parties unite solely to evade corruption charges, while the public remains aware of their intentions. He also cited the example of NCP MLAs joining the BJP government in Maharashtra, stating that the NCP had no future. Chufal hinted at a similar situation in Uttarakhand, claiming that many Congress MLAs are in touch with the BJP and may soon switch parties.
Maha Jansampark abhiyan, Union Minister of State for Defense and Tourism Ajay Bhatt and MLA Sarita Arya led a mass contact campaign on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Nainital.
