नवीन समाचार, नई दिल्ली, 26 जून 2023। उत्तरपूर्वी दिल्ली के बृजपुरी इलाके में एक युवक को चाकू मारने के बाद फरार हुए आरोपित को उत्तराखंड से 4 दिन बाद गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। इस मामले से एक बार उत्तराखंड के अपराधियों की शरणस्थली (Apradhiyon ki sharansthali) बनने के आरोप भी और आगे बढ़े हैं।
उल्लेखनीय है कि राजधानी में इस सांप्रदायिक घटना के मद्देनजर इलाके में अर्धसैनिक बलों की तैनाती करनी पड़ गई थी। हैरानी की बात यह भी रही कि मामूली विवाद में राहुल नाम के युवक पर जानलेवा हमला करने वाले आरोपित मोहम्मद जैद को स्थानीय दुकानदारों ने पकड़कर शटर में बंद कर दिया था। लेकिन पुलिस के पहुंचने से पहले ही उसके दोस्त और रिश्तेदार मौके पर पहुंच गए और शटर खोलकर जैद को अपने साथ भगा ले गए थे।
मामले के अनुसार बृजपुरी में रहने वाला सोनू बीते शुक्रवार 23 तारीख की रात करीब 10 बजे अपने चचेरे भाई राहुल के साथ खाना खाने के बाद आइसक्रीम खाने गया था। इस दौरान पास में रहने वाला मोहम्मद जैद भी उसी इलाके में घूम रहा था। किसी छोटी-सी बात पर उसकी राहुल से बहस हो गई। इसके बाद मोहम्मद जैद ने चाकू निकाला और राहुल के पेट के निचले हिस्से में मार दिया। बीच-बचाव करने आए सोनू के दोनों हाथों में भी चाकू से चोट लग गई।
चाकू मारने के बाद मोहम्मद जैद भागा और एक टेंट हाउस के अंदर घुस गया और वहां जाकर काउंटर के पीछे छिप गया, क्योंकि मौके पर अच्छी खासी भीड़ जमा हो गई थी। जैद के पीछे-पीछे राहुल भी गया, लेकिन ज्यादा खून बहने से वह गिर पड़ा। घटनास्थल पर लोगों ने मौका देखा और फौरन मिलन टेंट हाउस के शटर को बंद कर जैद को कमरे में बंद कर दिया।
आरोपित मोहम्मद जैद को शटर में बंद करने के बाद लोगों ने पुलिस को सूचना दी। लेकिन पुलिस पहुंचती इससे पहले मोहम्मद जैद के दोस्त और रिश्तेदार मौके पर पहुंच गए और शटर खोलकर जैद को अपने साथ भगा ले गए। तभी से जैद फरार था।
उधर, स्थानीय दुकानदार घायल राहुल और सोनू को पास के जीटीबी अस्पताल ले गए। जहां प्रारंभिक इलाज के बाद सोनू को तो घर भेज दिया गया, लेकिन गंभीर हालत के चलते राहुल को भर्ती कर लिया गया। सोमवार को पुलिस उपायुक्त (उत्तर पूर्व दिल्ली) जॉय टिर्की ने जानकारी दी कि अस्पताल में सर्जरी के बाद पीड़ित राहुल की हालत स्थिर बनी हुई है।
दूसरी ओर दिल्ली पुलिस ने इस मामले में हत्या की कोशिश और शस्त्र अधिनियम के तहत प्राथमिकी दर्ज कर मोहम्मद जैद की तलाश शुरू कर दी थी। वारदात को अंजाम देने के बाद मोहम्मद जैद फरार हो गया था। काफी देर तक पीछा करने के बाद आज सोमवार को दिल्ली की दयालपुर थाना पुलिस ने 20 वर्षीय मोहम्मद जैद पुत्र नवाब अहमद को देहरादून उत्तराखंड से पकड़ लिया है।

According to the case, Sonu, who lives in Brijpuri, had gone to eat ice cream after having dinner with his cousin Rahul at around 10 pm on Friday, the 23rd. During this, Mohammad Zaid, who lives nearby, was also roaming in the same area. He had an argument with Rahul on some small issue. After this Mohammad Zaid took out a knife and killed Rahul in the lower abdomen. Sonu, who came to intervene, also got injured with a knife in both his hands.
After stabbing Mohammad Zaid ran and entered inside a tent house and went there and hid behind the counter as a sizeable crowd had gathered at the spot. Rahul also followed Zaid, but he fell down due to profuse bleeding. People on the spot saw the opportunity and immediately closed the shutter of Milan tent house and locked Zaid in the room.
People informed the police after locking the accused Mohammad Zaid in the shutter. But before the police could reach, Mohammad Zaid’s friends and relatives reached the spot and opened the shutters and took Zaid away with them. Since then Zaid was absconding.
Meanwhile, local shopkeepers took the injured Rahul and Sonu to the nearby GTB Hospital. While Sonu was sent home after initial treatment, Rahul was admitted due to his critical condition. On Monday, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North East Delhi) Joy Tirkey informed that the condition of the victim, Rahul, remains stable after undergoing surgery at the hospital.
On the other hand, the Delhi Police had started looking for Mohammad Zaid by registering an FIR in this case for attempt to murder and under the Arms Act. Mohammad Zaid had absconded after committing the crime. After chasing for a long time, Delhi’s Dayalpur police station has arrested 20-year-old Mohammad Zaid’s son Nawab Ahmed from Dehradun, Uttarakhand on Monday.
