However, they are now demanding an additional sum of five lakh rupees, threatening suicide and implicating the victim in a suicide note. The victim received a video call from an unknown girl on June 26, followed by a call from another number, where the caller informed him that the obscene video was going viral on YouTube. The victim complied with the demands, but now faces further extortion and psychological distress. The police have initiated an investigation based on the victim’s complaint.
