Rishwat, In a recent incident in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, a person, identified as a Congress leader, was arrested for attempting to bribe an Upper Tehsildar. The accused, Gul Mohammad, allegedly approached the Additional Tehsildar with a bribe of Rs 17,000 to sign a file. However, when the Additional Tehsildar opened the file, the money fell out, and the accused openly admitted that it was intended as a bribe. The Upper Tehsildar promptly called the police and had Gul Mohammad arrested. A case has been registered against the accused based on the complaint filed by the Additional Tehsildar.
